A side note
The last time we did this was in 2020. The pandemic had just hit, and he was home all the time. He was 15, and his room was still set up like it was when we first moved into the house when he was six. It was time for an upgrade. We got him new furniture and a full-size bed. More fitting for a young man his age. However, this redo I have in mind has nothing to do with his age, but his health.
Cleaning up papers that were on my mantle, I came across the ones I printed that came from his functional medicine doctor. This one lists all the things we can do to make the house more conducive to healing. Things like changing household cleaners, purchasing air filters, to water purification. Another thing that affects our healing that you may or may not think about is the EMF that is emitted from our electronic devices. This is the remodel that I have to do for him.Wifi requires 2.4gHz and 5gHz frequencies that are unsafe and should be avoided due to the fact that it suppresses melatonin, and heavy metal detoxification is impossible with exposure to WiFi. When I considered this several months back, I found some stickers that could be put on devices to mitigate the EMF emitted from them. The thing about these stickers is - they don't work. And if they did work, they would suppress the signal so much that Wifi would be obsolete. I tried to find if there was something on the market that could help reduce the EMF without disruption to service. There isn't. I found something called a Faraday cage that I could put around the router, but the service would not work. I found I could hardwire his tablet, but that does nothing for the EMF that gets to his room from the usage of other devices. I could also put a canopy/Faraday tent around his bed to help him, along with the tablet on Ethernet service, but he doesn't always watch his tablet on the bed. The more ideas I came up with, the more I realized how difficult it is.
I need to block his entire room. Enter EMF blocking paint. The suggestion was to put one coat on the wall where the bed is, but I want to keep him from as much exposure as possible because he has an issue sleeping and detoxing, and with all I am doing to help his body work as it's supposed to, this thing has to go. Now let's get to the meat of this. The blocking paint needs to be grounded. So not only am I buying a special paint to repel the EMF when it hits his walls, I have to "ground" this EMF to another place. Looking into this, I found that the paint alone is $250 a gallon. We need about two cans for 2 coats on each wall and the ceiling, and the kit. I figured in the meantime, we could buy the canopy, ground the tablet, and make sure he stays on his bed while watching. Well, the best canopy for the job costs $797. Considering we are going to ground his room, I don't see the point of buying the canopy. But another thought popped into my head as I was typing this. If we need to use electricity to ground EMF, isn't that contradictory? It depends on how the EMF is grounded. The materials used to block EMF that are in the paints, canopies, etc., are made up of conductive materials that block or reflect if they are grounded, giving them a place to leave the room. If you do these things and don't ground you make things worse. So grounding is good, unless you have dirty electricity. Dirty electricity is when the electrical wiring carries high-frequency voltage. So, before I fully implement everything, I have to make sure there is no dirty electricity in the home. And as old as this place is, I would be surprised if it did. I would actually be shocked if it didn't. I'm happy I found this information and wanted to share it with those who find it useful. If I had not, I would not have considered the dirty electricity and could have made this whole situation worse. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him" James 1:5. Blogging has, in a way, been my way of asking for information while sharing some of the information I already know.I found everything I learned yesterday kind of upsetting. It seems the more we want to help ourselves health-wise, the more money we have to put out. Healthier foods and high-quality supplements are overpriced, and our practitioners who stray away from Western medicine are out of network, which means we pay out of pocket. It's truly sad the day and age we live in. However, it also puts into perspective how God provides. He is the Source that gives us resources.
